UKRAINE: DR. BRUNO COSTA AT THE HANSEN VILLAGE

Dr. Bruno Costa at Hansen Village in Ukraine

Dr. Bruno Costa, the Civil Diplomat  of Jethro, visited Hansen Village in Tarasivka, about 15 miles south of Kyiv, Ukraine.

The village is a project developed by the philantropist Dell Loy Hansen’s over the past several years.

His transformative efforts have included building hundreds of homes and apartments, feeding thousands, and providing employment opportunities.

For this iniciative, he has been awarded the prestigious Philanthropist of the Year .

Visit to Hansen Village: understanding the project

Dr. Bruno Costa was welcomed by local leaders and accompanied by a delegation of Jethro International Civil Humanitarian Diplomats.

The goal was to explore the site and strengthen international collaboration in support of families displaced by war.

During his visit, he toured the village, met with families, and engaged with community leaders.

Hansen Village: Safe Housing for Displaced Families

Hansen Village offers free and dignified housing to Ukrainian families affected by the war.

The site includes more than 430 residential units, and 1,000 homes in 2025.

It features apartments, a school, playgrounds, a community center, bomb shelters, and recreational areas.

A key figure in the Hansen Village project is Mr. Serhii Lesnik, a passionate community leader, businessman, and dedicated volunteer from Ukraine.

He was awarded the Gold Star for Volunteering by the President of Ukraine for his outstanding contributions.

Also, he received the Martin Luther King Award from Jethro Civil Diplomat Org. in recognition for his dedication to humanitarian causes.

Serhii Lesnik’s leadership embodies the resilience and solidarity of the Ukrainian people.
