Ana Carvalho Appointed Expansion Director

 

Civil Diplomat Ana Carvalho, PhD, has been appointed Expansion Director for Business Psychology at the European headquarters of Civil Diplomat Jethro International.

In this role, she strengthens the connection between psychology, leadership and Humanitarian Civil Diplomacy.

Her journey combines education, organisational psychology, business management and human development. Therefore, her work reflects a strong commitment to people, institutions and the transformation of leadership through knowledge.

Ana Carvalho is a Business Manager, Organisational Psychologist and University Professor. She works in Brazil at Universidade Estácio de Sá, Universidade Veiga de Almeida and Universidade do Grande Rio (Afya). In addition, she also teaches in Cabo Verde, at Universidade Jean Piaget de Cabo Verde.

Her academic background includes Postdoctoral Studies in Education at the University of Lisbon and a PhD in Management from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. She also holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Human Development.

Throughout her career, Ana has focused on the development of people and organisations. Furthermore, she has contributed to the structuring of Human Resources departments and to the creation of Business Psychology Committees.

Her work places human dignity at the centre of organisational growth. As a result, her professional vision connects technical excellence with emotional intelligence, ethics and social responsibility.
