Civil Diplomacy in Portugal gains renewed visibility through the recent agenda of David Silva, Civil Diplomat and Director of Expansion at Jethro International.

Quinta da Boa Vista, in Vila Franca de Xira, hosted a prestigious Equestrian Gala on 31 May.

The event brought together personalities from culture, associations, business and public life in the region.

Among the guests was David Silva, Civil Diplomat and Humanitarian, representing the mission and values of Civil Diplomacy.

During the gala, he shared the work developed in this field with several guests.

He also promoted dialogue, cooperation and the importance of humanitarian action within local communities.

The occasion allowed contact with the owners of Quinta da Boa Vista.

It also enabled exchanges with Carlos Alves, Mayor of Arruda dos Vinhos, and André Agostinho, Councillor for Culture.

David Silva’s presence helped present Civil Diplomacy as an instrument of proximity between citizens, institutions and community leaders.

Institutional dialogue in Arruda dos Vinhos

As part of his humanitarian mission, David Silva also visited the Municipality of Arruda dos Vinhos.

He was accompanied by Civil Diplomat Rui Miguel Coelho, both representing Jethro International.

The Civil Diplomacy delegation was received by Mayor Carlos Alves and Councillor Carla Munhoz.

The meeting took place within a humanitarian context and strengthened dialogue between local authorities and Jethro International representatives.

David Silva also attended the Feira de Alternativas de Sintra, an event dedicated to human development and integral wellbeing.

The fair gathered professionals, therapists, trainers, entrepreneurs and organisations connected to complementary therapies, emotional balance and personal growth.

David Silva took part through his professional activity as founder of the Escola Profissional de Reiki.

He is also the creator of the MK2 Reiki method, linked to his work in human development.

During the event, he followed new trends and projects in the wellbeing sector.
