The São Romão de Carvalhosa Parish Social Centre Welcomes Distinguished Delegation of Jethro Civil Diplomats
Mr. Trajano Martins, Director of Expansion for Civil Diplomacy at Jethro, Ana Martins, Humanitarian Civil Diplomat, and the Honourable Dr João Luís Gama visited the São Romão de Carvalhosa Parish Social Centre, located in the Porto region.
Dr José Carlos Coelho, the Technical Director of the Social Centre, warmly welcomed the visitors.
The centre provides a wide range of social support services, including care for children, adults, and families.
With a particular focus on children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and families in vulnerable situations.
Its mission includes promoting intergenerational interaction and supporting the elderly to remain within their family environment.
Additionally, the centre offers assistance to individuals in situations of dependency, including integrated home care services.
Jethro Civil Diplomats Nomination for Martin Luther King Award
In recognition of his outstanding social commitment, Dr José Carlos Coelho has been nominated for the Martin Luther King Award – the organisation’s highest honour granted to those who dedicate themselves to social and humanitarian causes.
