Ronan de Andrade Horta Strengthens Civil Diplomacy at LABRFF
Ronan de Andrade Horta – the Expansion Director of Sustainability at Jethro International – arrived in Los Angeles with a clear mission.
He carried his voice of Art and Civil Diplomacy to one of the most symbolic stages of Brazilian cinema abroad.
His presence at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival – LABRFF 2025 – strengthened the bridge between Portugal, Brazil, and the global creative community.
Moreover, his documentary Aquele Abraço (The Hug) moved audiences earning three nominations as for Best Feature Documentary, Best Documentary Direction, and Best Cinematography.
These nominations highlighted the film’s emotional force and its message of environmental awareness and unity.
Documentary Highlights the Environment Preservation
The Culver Theater welcomed the screening with enthusiasm. The audience connected with the film’s message and recognised its call for collective responsibility.
This reaction reinforced Civil Diplomacy commitment to culture as a tool for dialogue and impact.
Ronan described the moment as a celebration of global connection. He noted that cinema opens doors for diplomacy, creativity, and meaningful encounters.
Sala de Star Talk Show Expands to Los Angeles
During the festival, Ronan also introduced the international edition of the Sala de Star Talk Show.
This project was born in Portugal within the Business Social Club ecosystem and gained its first international stage in California.
The event gathered many artists, including Fausto Mok, Regis Faria, and Meire Fernandes.
The conversations addressed creative entrepreneurship, innovation, and international cooperation, blending culture, entertainment, and relationship-building.
International Recognition & Future International Agendas
Ronan’s work reached Portugal as well. He joined Ana Rita Clara on the TVI Show Para Si. The interview highlighted the growing impact of the Business Social Club Global – BSC.

March 2026 – Vila Galé, Portugal
The new season of the Sala de Star Talk Show launches in partnership with Vila Galé. The project will highlight hospitality, culture, and international dialogue.
June 2026 – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
The Business Social Club Global Headquarters opens in Rio de Janeiro. The space will serve as a hub for creative business, cultural exchange, and diplomatic relationships.
The Civil Diplomat and Expansion Director Ronan de Andrade Horta
Ronan is a business strategist, presenter, and cultural entrepreneur. His career spans more than 27 years in international markets.
He serves as International Expansion Director of Jethro Civil Humanitarian Diplomacy and acts as Founder and CVO of the Business Social Club.
Additionally, he is Executive Director of Swell Investments and partner at Rockstage Produções.
His experience includes presenting at iconic events such as the Casa do Qatar during the Rio Olympics and the Brazilian Day in NYC, United States. His path brings together business, culture, strategy, and human purpose.
